Following the recent successful spin out of Streamline Computing’s cluster management appliance division as Concurrent Thinking Ltd, Streamline Computing is once more trading as Streamline Computing Limited and is no longer a trading division of Concurrent Thinking.
Dr Michael Rudgyard, having managed Streamline Computing since its inception nearly 10 years ago, will continue to serve as a Non-Executive Director on Streamline’s Board of Directors while elsewhere he takes up the role of Chief Executive Officer at the newly spun-out Concurrent Thinking Ltd.
Dr Richard Groves, previously Chief Operating Officer at Concurrent Thinking Ltd, has taken up the reins at Streamline Computing and assumes overall management of the company. In addition, Streamline is pleased to announce that Steve Ashurst has joined the company as its Commercial Director, having recently served as SGI’s General Manager for Northern Europe. Steve brings a wealth of commercial experience to Streamline Computing and strongly complements Streamline’s renowned technical and operational expertise.
“This is a very exciting time for Streamline Computing” said Dr Groves. “As high performance computing markets and technologies evolve to address new challenges, Streamline is in a very strong position, having adapted to these changes, to continue to provide the best possible services and systems to meet the exacting demands of its customers”.
Streamline Computing is the UK’s leading HPC and complex computing integrator, having been responsible for the design, delivery and support of many of the UK’s top high performance computing systems and installations including a number which have featured in the Top500 at the time of their delivery.
