About Us
Streamline Computing has been working with customers of high performance computing since 2000 and is one of a small number of boutique companies in the UK specialising in this growing market. Historically our customers have been leading research organisations such as universities and government institutions but our customer base has grown to include many commercial organisations in the motor sport, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, finance and the defence marketplaces.
We are a small, tightly focussed company and intend to stay that way although as you will see from our new hires page we have plenty of growth to do. Our focus is on the design, supply, delivery, tuning and support of complex computing solutions which now extend beyond the world of high performance to include complex storage and compute environments including ‘clouds'.
We relish the challenge of the unusual and the unproven and have built a strong reputation based on a commitment to ‘getting things done'.

At long last it's arrived! They say good things are worth waiting for... Well our new Dell C410 GP GPU Unit is certainly very neat with its on board Nvidia Tesla units, but we wish it hadn't taken so long for us to get our hands on it! We will be building it up and then giving our friends at Totalsim access to run some tests with Openfoam before making it available for general use. So if you would like to test this machine yourself, please drop me a line at sashurst@streamline-computing.com and we will try to sort it out for you as soon as possible.
If you have other codes you would like to try please let us know, we are keen to collate some benchmark data for other codes also. We have been joined by a new hire who has considerable experience on porting and tuning apps for GPU's, so we are keen to get him busy...
